It is a Process Challenge Device (PCD), it has been designed to simulate a load to be sterilized and to pose a challenge to the sterilization process. Helix PCD test allows you to assess the penetration of the sterilizing agent in the inaccessible areas of the sterilizer chamber, especially useful when checking the sterilization of tubular instruments.
